Introducing Peggy Byler, CPM
My interest in midwifery began when I was only 12 years old! A
friend invited me to observe her birth at the midwife's home. It was a
beautiful, uncomplicated, (quick!) experience, and I was filled with

Birth Services in TX. I studied there for almost 20 months and
also cross-trained with Molly Germash of Heart's

I grew up in southern Delaware with three brothers plus various and sundry animals! After moving to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in 2005, I quickly grew to love it here. During "down time" I enjoy walking, reading, making new friends and chatting with old ones. My home (where I see clients for most prenatal and postpartum visits) is located on a peaceful, country road and surrounded by fields and woods.
I have a very low transport rate in labor/postpartum (about 4%) and, therefore, my clients enjoy a low C-section rate as well!
I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and assist you in experiencing the birth of your dreams.
